Obituary of Steven Fiandola

Steven Fiandola, 68, of New Springville, Staten Island, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2026. Born on September 11, 1957, he was the youngest child of Antoinette and Robert. Steven graduated from John Adam's High school, in Queens, NY and retired from the New York Racing Association, where he was a manager. In 1991, Steven married his wife, Annette, and remained with her until her sudden death in 2007. Those who knew Steven will remember his patience, kindness and love. For the last 17 years, he was loved by his wife, Michele, who has adored and supported him and his family since they met. He enjoyed jogging, watching sports, vacationing in Aruba, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Michele, his son Michael, daughter-in-law Viktoria, nephew Timothy and was predeceased by his brother Robert. He also leaves behind his pride and joy, his twin 3-year-old grandsons Anthony Steven and Christian Robert. Together with Michele, he taught them patience, love and understanding. He spent every moment possible with them and especially adored taking them to the park. They will miss him deeply. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Pity on Thursday 3/26 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at St Peter's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd.
