Joel S. Brenker, 62, of Staten Island, New York, passed away on March 27, 2026.
Born on June 15, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, Joel was raised in the Heartland Village section of Staten Island. He is the son of Stuart Brenker and the late Lynn Brenker. Joel graduated from Port Richmond High School.
Joel was the proud co-owner of 5 County Alarm Systems, a company originally founded by his father, Stuart Brenker, in 1975. Joel joined the business as a partner in 1980, helping grow it into a well-respected and trusted name throughout Staten Island. A highly skilled and largely self-taught technician, Joel had an exceptional understanding of alarm systems, cameras, audiovisual systems, and technical integration.
Joel was widely known and respected in the Staten Island community as someone who was always willing to help others. Whether it was family, friends, or anyone in need, Joel was often the first call, the first to arrive, and the first to step in. If there was ever a problem, Joel was there without hesitation offering his time, knowledge, and support.
Above all, Joel was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family. He especially enjoyed vacations to Aruba, Florida, and Las Vegas, creating lasting memories with those he loved. Joel also always loved to play his lotto numbers daily, a small but meaningful part of his everyday routine.
Joel is survived by his beloved wife, Yvonne Brenker; his children; Morgan Kraiem, Danny Kraiem, Victoria Brenker, Alec Brenker, and James Brenker; and his grandchildren; Daniel, JackCarter,CharlieDean, Kash, Maximus, & CasieJean.
He is also survived by his sisters; Bonnie Brenker, Shari Brenker, Rena and Philip Ferrante. He was also a loving uncle to his nieces, nephews and 2 great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at
