Obituary of Michael R. Calabrese

Michael Ralph Calabrese, 81, of Staten Island, passed away on April 3, 2026. He was born on December 26, 1944.

Michael was a proud graduate of Lafayette High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from NYIT College. He built a life centered on family, dedication, and simple joys.

He shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sally Antoci. Together, they created a strong and loving family.

Michael enjoyed sports, good food, reading, and joking around with those he loved. His sense of humor and warm personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
 

He is survived by his loving wife, Sally; his daughter, Danielle; his sons, Michael and Robert; his sister, Marietta; and his brother, Manny. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Sal, Vincent, and Anthony, children of Danielle and her husband, Sal.

Visitation will be held at Matthew Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Pity Church.

Michael’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
