Obituary of Frank Ritter
Frank Ritter, born on January 16, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026. He was 89 years old.
Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gloria Ritter; his daughter Donna and his parents, John and Irene Carlsen; his brothers Jimmy and Jackie; and his sisters Eileen and Janet. He is survived by his sister Judy Cochran; his daughter Deborah Nevin; his grandson's Michael and Brian Nevin, Manley and Morgan Church, Itzel Malloy, and Melissa Cloutier; as well as his great-grandchildren Nevaeh Church, Illaina Malloy, Paxton Cloutier, Wyatt Cloutier, Riley and Colton Nevin
Frank was a man of strength and unwavering dedication. He believed in the value of hard work and doing what was right even when no one was watching. Dependable and selfless, he gave freely of himself to those he loved without seeking recognition. His actions spoke volumes about the depth of his character he taught by example and lived with integrity.
Above all else, Frank's greatest pride and purpose were found in his family. His love for them was steadfast and unconditional, shaping the lives of those around him. The values he instilled continue to guide those who knew him best. Though he is no longer with us in person, Frank's presence endures through the memories he created and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
May Frank's memory bring comfort to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Monday April 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00P.M.At Matthew Funeral Home 2508 Victory Blvd. Staten Island N.Y. 10314
Tuesday April 21 at 9 AMfamily and friends will gather at the funeral home and at 10:45 His funeral mass will be offered at Saint rocks Roman Catholic Church.
Burial will follow Mass at Ocean View Cemetery
