Obituary of Henry Roman, Sr.

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Henry Roman Sr., a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend to many.

Henry was one of six siblings (Minerva, Sandra, Angie, Junior & Annette) along with ten nieces and nephews and carried the values of family, hard work, and kindness throughout his life. He was the beloved husband of Lydia, and together they built a life centered on love, loyalty, and family. He was a proud father to three children (Henry Jr, Michael & Michelle), a treasured grandfather to five grandchildren (Jessica, Henry Jr II, Erika, Christian & Elyssia), and a deeply adored great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren (Laila, Amilia, Angelo III, Skye, Henry IV, Jaxon & Christian), all of whom were the center of his world.

Throughout his life, Henry wore many hats and touched many lives. He worked on Wall Street, where his dedication and determination helped shape his strong work ethic and ambition. He later became a respected parks supervisor, serving his community with pride, leadership, and care. Also having been a Little Leage base ball coach - touching the lives of many children & rewarded them with pizza win or lose.

Henry was also a talented caterer and entrepreneur who brought joy to countless people through his cooking. As the owner of Henry’s Pizza and King of the Roast-he became known not only for great food, but for the warmth and generosity he shared with everyone who walked through the door. Cooking was one of Henry’s greatest passions, and nothing made him happier than feeding family, friends, and neighbors with meals made from the heart.

Above all else, Henry was a devoted family man and his family’s biggest fan. Whether celebrating milestones, offering advice, or simply gathering everyone around the table, he created lasting memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness. His strength, humor, wisdom, and unwavering support will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Henry’s legacy lives on through the beautiful family he helped build and the countless lives he touched along the way.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
