Obituary of Frank T. Geoly

     Frank T. Geoly, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at his home in Staten Island.  He was born on December 23, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY, to Peter and Prudence Geoly.   An older brother to Carol and Elaine, Frank was a graduate of St. Augustine High School and St. John's School of Law.  He was a practicing lawyer in the New York City area for over 65 years.  He married Rose Marie Ucciardi on February 1, 1964, in Brooklyn, NY.  He moved to Staten Island in 1970 and lived in the Heartland Village area for most of his adult life.  A sports enthusiast, Frank was a loyal N.Y. Mets and N.Y. Giants fan, through winning and losing seasons.  He also loved playing and watching golf with his family and friends.  Regular trips to Atlantic City were something he looked forward to. Frank was also a great chess player until the very end.  He loved the holidays and was always the life of the party with his dinner table stories.  

     A devoted catholic, he regularly attended mass with his wife Rose Marie. He is survived by his wife Rose Marie, his daughter Lisa, his son Peter, his son-in-law Michael and his grandchildren Jessica and John.  Family, friends and others are invited to Matthew Funeral Home,  2508 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY,  from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026 to reminisce and celebrate the life of Frank.
