For as long as I can remember, Pat was the big brother figure that I’ve always wanted. Athletic and strong, funny and considerate, but above all, loving. Nothing beats the days of playing football outside with him, practicing boxing, and then going inside to eat dinner and play video games until night fell. Even meeting up in recent years, we would listen to music and reminisce on the old days. His personality was just something you couldn’t help but love being around. He always had something funny to say, and he didn’t take crap from anyone, but within all that was a sincere side that especially shined when he was with his children.
Pat’s passing has truly devastated so many people, and I can confidently say that it was one of the worst times in my entire life. Even though I will never see Pat again, I will always cherish every moment I’ve spent with him. From the sweetest memories to the roughest obstacles, Pat has left an impact on me, and I will never forget him.
My sincerest condolences. Rest in peace, Pat.
