Obituary of Peter M. Miluk, Jr.

Peter M. Miluk Jr., 75, passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Susan Jane Miluk neé Dierking, loving father of Matthew and Susan Mary, adoring grandfather to Matthew Miluk Jr. and brother to Beverly Mann. He was predeceased by his parents, Sophie and Peter Miluk Sr. and son, Peter III. He was born and raised in Staten Island where he attended Monsignor Farrell HS where he was the first football Hall of Fame inductee. He graduated from Pace University and received his MBA from St. John's University Serving in the Vietnam War as a first lieutenant Infantry Unit Commander Army Ranger, he was the recipient of the Bronze Star, Bronze Service Star, Bronze Star with First Oak Leaf Cluster and 6 additional combat commendations. Loyal friend to many, a respected man in his community, he coached grammar school basketball and SIBFL. His most enjoyable moments were spent with his family, especially his grandson. He also loved golfing, vacationing with his family, and was an avid reader. Visitation will be at Matthew Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 2nd, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Wednesday, April 3rd, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. Funeral to be held at Blessed Sacrament Church on Thursday, April 4th. Burial at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Tunnel to Towers or Wounded Warrior Project.
