Nana you will surely be missed. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet you and spend time with you over the years. I will always be grateful for all the time you spent helping Lashana plan my baby shower and all the beautiful trienkics you made by hand. I will cherish them for life because I know they were made with love. I still have many of them kept away in my wall unit 11 years later. It’s because of your love and teachings that my best friend Shana has grown into a beautiful woman and Cory a great young man. Thank you for your love and endless teachings. RIP Nana and we love and miss you so much.

I would never have known the love and compassion of the Lord if it wasn't for you Nana, you taught me right from wrong kept us from the evils and propelled us to greatness, as many times as I strayed off path you never gave up you always have my back to help me place my feet back on track. Thank you for all your love thank you for teaching me how to love others thank you for helping me holding me down I learned so much from you I love you so much I miss you much more this will never stop. I will continue the Good Deeds that you practiced and I will continue to love our family as you've loved them. Gone/Never forgotten...You will be missed my dear. I am truly Blessed for the opportunity, all the Love and jokes you shared with me over the years. I'll never forget the time I stayed with you in Brooklyn after coming back stateside/Home from Italy, my tour-of-Duty. Our long conversations that week was Amazing/AWEsome. As well, my History Lesson 101: Cummings Clan.
I'm sure you can knock-about all you want in Heaven...Brooklyn's Finest.

Mrs. Cummings, we never met in person and I know you through my wonderful friend LaShana. I learned we shared the same birthday. So, I believe just through that, you cared dearly for your family and would do anything to protect them. You were brave strong and tough.
