Howard didn’t know me. I just remember him because in high school, he dared to be different and he was really smart. He came to school in a suit and carried, i think, a briefcase. One of few people who stands out in my memory to me in a positive way from New Dorp High. Rest In Peace Howard

I met Howard through work, we never actually met but spoke on the phone numerous times over the years. He always made me laugh. I was heart broken when he told me he was ill. At first he was ready to go, to be with his wife but several months later he seem happier and at peace with what what happening to him. I will truly miss our conversations and am sad for his family.

I met Howard at WSP (formerly Parsons Brinckerhoff). Because I worked in legal and he worked in tax, we often worked together, to submit regular gov't filings. He had a great sense of humor and we laughed a lot. He was a wonderful person and I will miss him dearly. I just recently found out about his passing. My love, hugs and sympathy to all his family. I am sorry for your loss.

I met Howard and his wife at Petsmart when they brought their dog Tebow to day camp. They were always so kind to me. Howard and I always talked about the NASCAR race and unfortunately we never got to Dover to see a race together. I will miss him so much. RIP my dear friend

Howard was truly one of a kind. Everyone, literally everyone, at work loved him. I had the pleasure of getting to know him in the Ephrata office. When there were birthday lunches i remember people waiting for Howard to sit and then we would all scramble to sit near him because we knew that would be the fun side of the table. He was such a hoot! I am grateful we reconnected and I was able to visit with him before Easter.
He made it very clear he was not in pain, hadn't been, was not afraid and how he longed to be with Helen. He only hoped to make it to Hubbas birthday.
He will be missed by so many because he was loved by so many. Peace and love to his family and dear friends.

Howard showed us at Parsons Brinckerhoff how to be the consummate professional. He possessed an amazing can do attitude and work ethic. I don't recall that he ever complained or griped (except maybe about the Broncos) and his sense of humor often gave us a needed lift from the daily grind. To Howard it was never a grind but a treasured duty. I am proud to have been a colleague of his. I know he will be missed by many and offer sincere condolences to his family and friends.

He was an amazing individual. I was so blessed to be his doctor and to get to know him and his kind, caring son, Hubba. He was the life of the party at our cancer center and everyone enjoyed his personality and neverending kindness. Our Friday group will miss him terribly! The world has been left a better place because of him. God bless
