Obituary of Andrew Charles Rossi Andrew Rossi, age 68, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2020. Andrew was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 16, 1951 to Charles and Matilda (aka, Tillie). He grew up in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with his two sisters for 31 years eventually moving to Staten Island in 1975. He worked at Sears, Roebuck & Company where he wound up meetinghis true love, Maryann May Judlick. Even though she was married before with three children, they knew they were each other's soul mates,and were married on December 2, 1989 in a beautiful church wedding surrounded by their loving family and friends. Residing in Huguenot with his new wife and step-daughters, Andrewwas employed as a Project Safety Manager for Project Hospitality for many years. He loved many things. He enjoyedbeach vacations and spending time with family and friends. But one of his biggest loves was the New York Yankees. He enjoyed rooting for them and never missed a game. Because Andrew had so much passion for the team and the sport he loved to share that excitement with his nieces and nephew by going to a NY Yankee game. He carried out that tradition with his grandchildren. He also loved to go fishing out on the ocean. In fact, he never ate a fish he didn't catch himself and always showed the kids how to filet, bread and cook them. Andrew lovedaffectionately being called Pop-pop and Unc by his grandkids, nieces and nephews.He also had a soft spot for their dogs, Max, Mia, Lucky and Buddy.For thirty years he shared these loves with his wife Maryann until her unfortunate death in November 2019. Andrew had a tremendous heart! He enjoyed being around his wife and family the most.Andrew was a loving husband, step-father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and great uncle, who will forever be missed. Although he has left us too soon, there iscomfort in knowing Andrew is at peace with his truest love. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Matilda; his wife Maryann; and his brother-n-law PeteChieffo. He leaves behind his loving family, hissisters Loretta Greco, (husband Andrew) and Patricia Chieffo, (late husband Pete);Step-daughters, Stacey Bruggemann (husband Corey), Cynthia Castro (husband Nelson) and Kimberly Keane (husband Michael); Grandchildren, Emma and William Keane, Scott and AlexaBruggemann, Natasha Castro; Great Grandchildren, Kaylee and Michaela Keane; Nieces, Donna Curto (husband Joseph), Laurie Glynn (husband Dave),SamanthaGursaly (husband Dave), Tricia Chieffo; Nephew, Andrew Greco (wifeAlethia); Great Nieces, Dina, Gina, Briana, Jenna, Ariella;Great Nephews, Joseph (wife Brigitte), Jack, DJ, Hunter, and Andrew; Great-Great nephews,Joseph and Anthony;Great-Great niece, Sophia. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make a donation to Andrew's favorite animal rescue, P.L.U.T.O.
