Obituary of MaryAnn Corrente

MaryAnn Corrente, age 80, passed away on December 12, 2017. She was the beloved mother of Daniel Corrente and Laura Phoel and her husband Richard and the late James Corrente Jr. She was the dear sister of Dolores Strothkamp, Anthony Mazzariello Sr. and the late Frank Mazzariello Jr. She is also survived by Virginia Corrente, Marie Hansen and Marie Goffredo whom she considered to be very dear friends. She was also an amazing aunt to many nieces and nephews. MaryAnn was born on Staten Island and lived in Dongan Hills, Sunnyside, and Westerleigh through the years. She worked for Morgan Stanley and Dean Witter as a customer service supervisor. In her spare time, MaryAnn enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. She also loved crocheting, traveling and spending time with her family. Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Sunday, 12/17/17, at 8:00 PM. On Monday, 12/18/17, an interment will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Donations can be made to VNS Hospice in MaryAnn's memory.
