Paulette L. Bellavia, 72, of Travis, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2020. She was the beloved mother of Gina Kessler and her husband Ira, and Lori D'Antoni and her husband Guy; cherished grandmother of Matthew and Bryan Kessler, and Guy and Marissa D'Antoni; dear sister of Marianne Daly, the late Joan Lisiewski, the late Walter Lisiewski, and the late Rosalie Candrilli. Paulette was the former wife of Salvatore Bellavia. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Ms. Bellavia was born in 1948, raised in New Brighton, and also lived in New Dorp Beach, Port Richmond, and Travis. She was graduated from Curtis High School and after her children were born she returned to school to become a Registered Nurse, where she enjoyed that profession for 30 years at the South Beach Psychiatric Center, retiring in 2006. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts and sewing. Paulette was an animal lover, who was a humanitarian and enjoyed supporting local charities. She enjoyed cooking for holidays and parties, and stuffed cabbage was one of her specialties. Paulette made many favors for the parties that she was involved with and her talents allowed her to make costumes and beautiful centerpieces. She was extremely gifted with her craft skills. Paulette loved time spent with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren's hockey and baseball/softball games. Her family was her world.
