Obituary of Catherine Cristadoro

Catherine Cristadoro, 79 of Willowbrook, passed away peacefully at her home on October 17, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, John Cristadoro; her sisters Teresa Manteo and Marie Patalano; and her children John Cristadoro, Roseann Conheeney (Thomas) and James Cristadoro (Christine). She was a very proud Grandma Cathy to Tommy, James and Kelly Conheeney, James Cristadoro Jr, and Lauren and Daniel Cristadoro. Born June 29, 1941 in Brooklyn NY, Cathy was the daughter of the late Agrippino Manteo and the late Rose Malfa. She was a graduate of the College of Staten Island in 1997 with a BA with honors in Sociology and Anthropology and double majored in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies. Along with being an amazing mom, she brought her many talents as an Administrator at Eger Assisted Living, Office Manager for Dr. Khalid Rehman, Oncologist, and more recently she ended an 18 year career as a Sales Person at JC Penney. Fashionista, stylish, coordinated, stunning, accessorized and fabulous - these are just some of the adjectives that described Cathy and her wonderful fashion sense. Always "dressed to the nines", she made sure that her clothes, jewelry, make up, shoes, jacket, purse and treasured hats, were matched to perfection every time she walked out the door! Services will be provided by Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, Oct 21st, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Also, due to church rules related to COVID, the Eulogy will be given during the wake at 6:00 pm on Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Rita's R.C Church, 281 Bradley Ave, at 10:00 am on Thursday, Oct 22nd. Family and friends are welcome to attend the mass. Interment will follow the mass at Resurrection Cemetery.
