Obituary of Vivian Montalvo

Vivian Montalvo passed away at home on January 4, 2021. Vivian was the beloved mother of Jose Montalvo and Melissa Pollari, grandmother of Joseph, Justin, Dominick, Olivia, and Luca. Vivian was the daughter of the late Fabian and Juanita Ruiz, sister of Esther Ruiz, Aida Liciaga, Saul Ruiz, Irma Montalvo, Doris Ruiz, Kenny Ruiz, David Ruiz, Frances Ruiz and Carolyn Ortiz and the late Fabian Ruiz and Balthazar Ruiz. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Vivian loved her grandchildren, listening to music, going to concerts and shopping. She worked privately as a care taker for senior citizens for many years. Visitation is at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 4 PM. Entombment will take place on Monday, January 11th at Resurrection Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, all visitors must wear masks and practice social distancing. Please be mindful that a wait to visit might exist due to current capacity limitations.
