Obituary of Theresa M. DiSilvio

Theresa M. DiSilvio (nee Tammone), 91, of Westerleigh, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. DiSilvio, Sr. (2013); loving mother of Joseph DiSilvio, Frank J. DiSilvio, Jr., and Joanne DiSilvio; dear sister of Marie Socci. Mrs. DiSilvio was born and raised on Staten Island and graduated from McKee High School. She worked in Manhattan before getting married. After marrying her husband, she stayed home as a homemaker, to take care of her family. She enjoyed taking family vacations and trips to Atlantic City with her husband, and Joanne and Joseph. Theresa also enjoyed dining out with her family. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10:30 am, with interment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Due to Covid, all visitors must wear masks, practice social distancing and be mindful that a small wait to visit might exist due to current capacity limitations.
