Obituary of Karen J. O'Neill

Karen O'Neill, 68, of Arlene Street S.I., passed away Friday February 26, 2021. She is beloved wife of Alfred O'Neill for 45 years, sister to Vincent and Doreen Canecchia, mother to Lauren Clini and Michael O'Neill and grandmother to Jason Clini Jr. And Bradley O'Neill. Also survived by many loving cousins. Karen was born and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn and graduated from Lafayette High School. She was a retired administrative assistant from Fidelity Investments and was now a home maker, helping raise her grandchildren. Karen was always known for welcoming everyone into her home and making everyone feel like they were family. She's infamous for her holiday get togethers where she would have all her cousins friends and family over to celebrate. She also enjoyed going to the casinos with her husband and cousins and shopping. She's also known to be a lover of all animals and the callalilly. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 2508 Victory Blvd. Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, 3/6/2021 at 8:00 PM. Memorial Viewing will be on Saturday, 3/6/2021, from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. All are welcome. Due to the current pandemic all visitors are required to wear masks and social distancing will be enforced. Currently there are capacity limitations at the funeral home so please understand there may be a short wait
