Obituary of Andrea Mazzarisi

Andrea Mazzarisi (nee Ferrugio), age 69, passed away on March 10, 2021. She was the cherished wife of Louis A. Mazzarisi for 47 years; devoted mother of Amy Mazzarisi, Victoria Rotkowitz (Lenny) and Nicole Mazzarisi; she was the dear grandmother of Anthony Mazzarisi and Christian James Rotkowitz; she also leaves behind her loving grand dog, Jake. Andrea married the love of her life Louis Mazzarisi in 1973. They resided in Brooklyn and later relocated to Staten Island. Andrea and Louis were blessed with three beautiful children that they were extremely proud of. They enjoyed having family time, specifically traditional Italian Sunday dinners spending as much time with them as possible. Andrea was an amazing cook, loved entertaining family and friends, going on coffee trips with her friends and she absolutely loved her seniors. Over the years, Andrea had a very accomplished working career. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Fort Hamilton Army Base, later moving into a similar position working at Johnson Control and she has been an excellent realtor for over 20 years. She also was a proud Assistant Site Coordinator for the Arrochar Friendship Senior Club. Above all, Andrea was a very proud grandma. She cherished every moment with her grandsons, spoiling them as a grandma should. Andrea will be remembered as a beautiful, strong, loving and selfless woman. Throughout her life she touched many lives in a very positive way. Andrea will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. Graveside service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Resurrection Cemetery at 11:15 AM.
