Obituary of Anthony Mondi, Jr.

Anthony Mondi Jr., 54 of Bulls Head, Staten Island, left us on May 5, 2021. He was the beloved son of Anthony and Marion Mondi of Bulls Head; loving brother of Mark Mondi and his wife Deena Mondi; dear uncle of Emily Mondi, Alexandra Mondi and Mark V. Mondi. Anthony Jr. attended Port Richmond High School. In his spare time, Anthony also enjoyed bowling, and rooting for the Mets and the Jets. Although the latter two, we're still wondering why? To his many friend: thank you for being there! Anthony will join his beloved brother Michael Mondi who died in 2007. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday at 10 am, followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Due to Covid, all visitors must wear masks, practice social distancing and be mindful that due to current capacity limitations, a small visit to wait might exist.
