Obituary of Marie Vitale

Marie Vitale, 79, of Willowbrook, passed away on May 7, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Rosalie Vitale; dear sister of the late Louis Vitale; beloved cousin of Eli and Stephanie Absey, Joseph and Terri Carbone, Joseph and Jeanette Carbone, Josephine D'Agostino, Frank and Charlotte Carbone, Marie Therese Vitale McKay, Paul Vitale, Faro Vitale. Also survived by many loving second and third cousins. She was preceded in death by her dearest friend Dolores Pellettieri Malloy. Marie was born and raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She graduated from High School in Brooklyn and later worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant with Swiss Bank. In her younger years she enjoyed travelling and rooting for the Mets. She enjoyed chatting with and visiting her family. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 7:00 pm. Due to Covid, all visitors must wear masks, practice social distancing, and be mindful that due to current capacity limitations, there may be a small visit to wait.
