Obituary of Angeliki Lymberis

Angeliki Lymberis, 83, of Willowbrook, Staten Island, NY, passed away on May 8, 2021. Loving mother of Ourania Lymberis, Nicholas Lymberis, Marianna Malaxos and her husband Troy. Devoted Grandma "Yiayia" of Anthony Hodelin, Michael Viegas, Alexa Viegas, Stephen Viegas, Sofia Malaxos and Alexander Malaxos and three great-grand children. She was a sweet loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who had a deep bond and devotion to her family. She was full of knowledge and wisdom and was a Greek-American patriot. With open arms she gave the warmest of welcomes to the people she knew and was the matriarch of our family, the glue that kept it together and passed on to us the Greek traditions! May her memory be eternal, she will be forever missed! Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd, on Monday May 17th departing at 9:30am. Funeral service will be conducted at the Holy Trinity, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Due to Covid, all visitors must wear masks and practice social distancing and be mindful that due to current capacity limitations, there may be a brief wait to visit.
