Obituary of Carol Ann Anderson

Carol (Lotito) Anderson, age 50, passed away on May 12, 2021. She was the loving wife of Dan Anderson and proud mom of Dylan and Molly. Carol was born in Brooklyn, New York and was the daughter of Frank and Madeline Lotito and the brother of Christopher. As the first girl, Carol's grandparents, aunts and uncles loved to spoil her rotten. As she got older, she passed that same love on to her cousins, nieces and nephews to follow. As one of the older cousins, she was often the first one to advise on music, movies, and dance moves. Carol is a creative spirit and always viewed the world through the eyes of an artist. Whether that be on the stage, in front of a mic or most often on paper, she expressed herself through her art. Her paintings, drawings and cartoons brought joy to everyone around her. Growing up, Carol looked up to her brother Chris and wanted to be a Boy Scout. She fulfilled that dream when her kids joined the scouts and she became a Den Leader. When the Scouts found themselves shorthanded, Carol didn't hesitate to jump in to support her Pack, which grew significantly under her watch. She affectionately became known to all her boys as Mama Bear. Dylan and Molly, were the light of her life. Being a mother was Carol's greatest accomplishment and she was and always will be incredibly proud of each milestone they achieve. Vacations to Wildwood, comic bookstore adventures, Pinewood Derbies, painting nails and drawing special characters on lunchbags - anything to make her kids smile. While Christmas was always special, Halloween was her favorite holiday. She loved cosplay and went all out at the Renaissance Faire, Comicon, and any special dress up day the school had. May the Monkees, Beastie Boys and the golden oldies play in her eternal headphones.
