Obituary of Susan T. Farag

Susan Therese Farag, 63, born and raised on Staten Island, passed away in her home on May 23, 2021. Susan was a beloved nurse who treated all as family. Susan is survived by her 3 children: Alexander, Elizabeth and Therese Farag, as well as countless children, who’s lives she’s touched over the years as “nurse Sue.” Susan loved to travel. Her destinations of choice were beaches and farms. Susan was also a lifelong learner, and appreciated learning about new cultures and cuisines. She was a home chef who cooked all types of food, and showed her love through feeding people. Susan was caretaker and a healer for all of her life, healing both physically and emotionally. She touched many lives over the years and will continue live on, through every one of us. "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Sunday, 5/30, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
