Obituary of Thomas G. Belmonte

Thomas Gennaro Belmonte sadly passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving wife, Lillian, children, Marisa and Thomas, daughter-in-law Christina and his adoring grandchildren, Julianna and Thomas. Tom or "Big T" as he was affectionately known as by many was a kind and gentle man who touched the lives of so many during his life. Tom was a truly selfless person who always put others first. He never passed judgement on others and always treated everyone with dignity and respect. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Genevieve and his late brother Joseph. In addition to his wife, children, grandchildren, Thomas is survived by his only sister, Frances Biondi. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mary DiDonato, sister-in-laws, Stephanie Zogby and Andrea DiDonato, brother-in-laws, Mitchell Zogby and Eugene DiDonato. Tom also leaves behind his nieces, Danielle, Maria, Diana and Gianna, his nephews, Eugene, Robert, Mitchell and so many dear family and friends. Tom was a very special man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. To know Tom was to love Tom and he will live in our hearts forever. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd., on Tuesday, 7/20/2021, departing at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Clare's R.C. Church at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Monday, 7/19/2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
