Obituary of Patrick T. Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Thomas Williams announces his peaceful passing on July 29, 2021, at the age of 91. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife, Carmelita Williams of 63 years; loving father of Patrick Gregory Williams and his wife Beba, Jerome Williams and his partner Bernadette Magras, Amanda Burbano and her husband George, and Cyanne Maione and her husband Mark; cherished grandfather of Patrick Timothy Williams and his friend Mai Sittisak, Katrina, Denize, Gregory Allan, and Gabriella Williams, Andrew Williams, Anthony Burbano and his wife Francesca, Matthew Burbano and his wife Nicole, and Aidan Maione; devoted great-grandfather of Aries and Adrian Carrillo, Ava Williams and Giavanna WIlliams. He is predeceased by his mother and two sisters and leaves behind a loving sister and two brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless supportive in-laws. Tommy, as he was known by, was born and raised in Trinidad, West Indies and moved his family to Staten Island, NY in 1981. Tommy was a private and proud man and worked many jobs to provide for his family. His life was dedicated to his family. On any given day, he would receive a phone call or a visit from any of his children or grandchildren who needed help and his only response would be, "when and where do you need me?". Tommy also had a passion for cooking. There were multiple times that you would find him in the kitchen making several different dishes in one day. He only had to hear, you had not eaten a specific dish in a while, and he would not hesitate to get right up and start cooking that meal. His happiness would be knowing you enjoyed his cooking. He also loved his barbeque days with his family. Tommy crossed out one of his last bucket items with his grandson, Patrick Timothy and his friend Mai as they surprised him with a vacation to Mexico in February, 2020. Tommy will be truly missed but never forgotten. The family of Patrick Thomas Williams wishes to thank the Addeo Hospice Residence staff for their overwhelming care and support. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Teresa's R.C. Church, 1634 Victory Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10314.
