Obituary of Linda Frigenti

Linda Frigenti (nee Percaccio), age 88, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on August 23, 2021. She was the loving daughter of the late Michael and Irma Percaccio. She was the beloved sister of Millie Aplin and her late husband Warren, Louis Percaccio and his wife Ermelinda and the late Michael Percaccio. She was the dear aunt of Alison Aplin and her spouse Tracy Novembre, Lynda Spencer, Michael Percaccio and his wife Lina, Robert Aplin and his wife Nancy and Karen Percaccio. She was the great aunt of Amanda, Krysta, Caitlyn, Stefanie, Jessica, Michael, Michael, Robby, Mia, JP, JJ and Riley. She was the best friend of the late Bill Stevens. She is also survived by many other loving cousins and close friends. Linda was born and raised in Coney Island, Brooklyn. She had a successful career, working as an Officer at the Dime Savings Bank for over 20 years. She was a devout and dedicated Catholic and regular churchgoer. She was a caretaker for her parents and brother. Linda was a selfless person who always put others before herself. At Thanksgiving, Linda would make her famous Chocolate Chip Pie. In fact, it was such a hit that she would make extras so that her family can take it home with them. Linda will be remembered for her generosity and devotion to her family and friends. She was a terrific role model for her nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. On Thursday, 8/26/2021, departing at 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family R.C. Church at 11:30 AM. A private cremation will follow. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, 8/25/2021, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.
