Obituary of Olga A. Lane
Ms. Olga Lane
Ms. Olga Lane was born and raised in Honduras, Central America.
She came to the United States in the 1960s and lived in New York, close to her sister: Mrs. Gail Bernardez her only living relative.
Ms. Lane worked at the Chase Manhattan Bank and loved to travel, during one of her travels, she met her Norwegian husband in England.
She lived in Norway for many years.
After her divorce, she moved back to Brooklyn.
Ms. Olga Lane was an independent, tenacious woman. Her six-foot stature helped to give her a glamorous allure and she loved beautiful things. But her smile, which could light up a room, was her most beautiful possession. She was firm but loving to those who got to know her well. She has made an indelible impact on everyone she has met. Ms. Olga Lane has been physically taken from us, gone, but never forgotten.
If she were here today, we believe her last words would be: "Put a smile on your face!"
As long as there is love and memories, there could never be a true loss.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves memories no one can steal.
When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me.
I want no nights in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little, but not too long, nor with your heads bowed low.
Remember the love we once shared, miss me but let me go.
For this journey, we all must take, and each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road back home.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want He makes me lie down in the green pastures.
He leads me beside the still waters; He restores my soul. He leads me on the path of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea though I walk through the path of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies, and thou anointed my head with oil, my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
