Obituary of Frank Mauriello

Frank X. Mauriello, 72, of Manalapan, formerly of Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Henrietta (nee Delpozzo) for 50 years; loving father of Nicole Iacono (Sergio) and the late AnnMarie Mauriello, cherished grandfather of AnnMarie and Giavanna Iacono; dear brother of JoAnn Mazzei (Michael), and the late Charles Mauriello (Annette). He was also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Frank was born and raised in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from LaFayette High School. He was employed as a Carpenter, with union local 926, for many years. He was a fourth degree Black Belt and enjoyed teaching Karate to his students. He enjoyed vacationing with his family and rooting for his favorite sports teams. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare's R.C. Church at 11:00 am. Private cremation to follow. Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
