Obituary of Phyllis A. Raia

Phyllis A. Raia, 68, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Salvatore Raia; dear sister of Barbara Moskowitz and Joseph Silvetti; dear aunt of Joseph, Jordan, Jonathan, Joshua and Danie; dear daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Silvetti. Phyillis was born and raised in Brooklyn and graduated from All Saints High School. She was employed for many years as an Office Manager in the health care industry. Some of her hobbies included traveling, art, music and cooking. Some of her best dishes was lasagna, stuffed mushrooms and sausage bread. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, Long Island, NY. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
