Elenor Anthony-Lambert, (also known as Cyrene or Dada), passed away on October 4, 2021 after a brief hospitalization at Staten Island University Hospital North. Elenor was a seamstress and a beach vendor in her native Antigua. She migrated in 1990 to Staten Island, New York, where she worked as a Home Health Aide for 15 years. Elenor attended the Staten Island Seventh- Day Adventist Church. One of her favorite sayings was "God is in control" and "God will take care of me". She was an infectious comedian who loved dancing to her favorite Calypso and Soca music. Elenor made a great impact on many people's lives. She will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Wilmot (Henderson) Lambert and her two daughters, Cynthia R. Nicholas-Peters and Keisha Anthony and her step-children Crystal Francis and Fitzroy Lambert. Daughter-in-law Janet Lambert, son-in laws Kirk Peters and Linden Francis and Morlon Crump. Along with 5 grandchildren Shane Jones, Carlton Henry, Shemar Francis, Andrew Nicholas and Jenielle Lambert. Her siblings- Nancy Hosford, Misheal Anthony, Sarah Farquhar and Salome Watts, an abundance of nieces, nephews, close friends and adopted family.
Viewing for Elenor Anthony-Lambert will be held at Matthew Funeral Home 2508 Victory Blvd Staten Island New York. On Thursday October 28, 2021, Viewing from 2:00 - 4:00pm and Funeral Service from 6:00 -9:00pm. Service will be Friday October 29, 2021 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
