Obituary of Angela L. Gilbride

Angela Gilbride, 57, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7th, 2021, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Keith, and her children Kristen and Liam. She is also survived by her mother, Carol Diorio, her brother and sister in law Louis and Kathi Diorio, her sister and brother in law Josephine and Roy Hansen, and her four nieces and nephews; Samantha, Michael, Christian, and Emily. Angela was born in St. Vincent's hospital in New York City and grew up in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. She graduated from St. John's University with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Angela and Keith married in 1992 and moved to Staten Island with their children in 2002. Shortly after, Angela began her career at Richmond University Medical Center, where she has been the Director of Pharmacy for the last ten years. Angela had a love for all holidays, reveling in decorations and themed parties. She put her whole heart and soul into everything she did, and she enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Angela was loved for her big heart and for the respect that she showed everyone around her. She will be loved, missed, and remembered by all. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 10:45 am. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
