Obituary of Avelino "John" Caneco

Avelino (John) Caneco Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather Avelino (John) Caneco passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in his home, on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was a longtime resident of West Brighton, formerly from Westerleigh. Avelino was the beloved husband of Maxine for 66 years; loving father of Robert (Deborah) and the late John Anthony; cherished grandfather of Gregory and Nicole; dear brother of Joseph Caneco and the late Ann Siciliano. Mr. Caneco was a proud Army veteran and a Master Carpenter. In his spare time he enjoyed camping, skiing and and traveling across the country. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, 11/26, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. A service is scheduled for 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Arrangements include private cremation.
