Obituary of Pascal M. Gambardella

Pascal M. Gambardella, 73, of Staten Island, NY passed away peacefully at Golden Gate Rehabilitation Center on December 5, 2021. He was a beloved husband of Lorraine; devoted son of Michael and Jean; loving father of Pascal Jr. and his wife Melissa, and father of Christopher; cherished grandfather of Sofia, Alexa, and Lily. He was preceded by his sister Michelle and survived by his sister May Ann and many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Gambardella was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He graduated from St. Peters H.S. in 1965. He graduated from Manhattan college in 1970 with a BS in Science. He worked as an accountant until his retirement in 2016. In his spare time, he enjoyed music, playing bass guitar in both Keys to the City and The Capri's, the Dimensions, and The Mike Gambardella Orchestra as well as building a variety of guitars. He was a true family man who cherished every moment with his family. Pascal was also known for his great sense of giving. He loved nothing more than to make others happy. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, 12/11, departing at 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus R.C. Church at 10:45 am. Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, 12/11 from 8:15 to 10:15 am.
