Obituary of Patricia A. Baldassano

Patricia Ann Baldassano, 63, of Staten Island, passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2022. She was the beloved wife of late Matthew (1994); devoted daughter of the late Dimitri and Mary Grabowsky, and cherished mother of her only daughter, Melissa. Pat was born and raised in Staten Island, NY on January 3, 1958. She was a graduate of New Dorp High School in 1976. She has had many jobs growing up. She has worked in Buda Bakery in Grant City, K-mart and Community National Bank to name a few. She was employed with Wagner College for many years in the library department and recently was working in Costco giving out samples. In her free time she enjoyed playing computer games and gardening. Pat had a green thumb and was always able to bring a dead plant back to life. She also was the go to person to find out the best sales in the grocery store for the week. Pat was a funny and very giving person and there was very little she wouldn't do for you. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, 1/6, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A service is scheduled for Friday, 1/7, at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Moravian Cemetery. Due to the Governor's mandate, all visitors must wear masks!
