Obituary of Catherine E. Nix

October 15, 1936 - January 10, 2022 Devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She was the beloved wife of the late William Nix. Preceded in the passing of her eldest daughter Linda Bowe Medina and grandson Derek W. Hernandez. She is survived by her children William Nix, Keith Nix, Kathleen Hernandez, and Jeffrey Nix. Catherine had sixteen grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Catherine was born in Brooklyn, and later moved to Staten Island following her marriage. She worked as a secretary for several law firms before retiring. Upon retiring she enjoyed reading, traveling, cruising and trips to the Casino. She also belonged to several organizations and clubs throughout the years.
