Obituary of Gregorio S. Buenaventura

Gregorio Buenaventura of Staten Island, NY passed away on January 10, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Amelita; loving father of Ginny, Liezl, Joel and his wife Karla, Aimee and her husband Cesar; loving grandfather to Clara, Gabby, Alyssa, Nikki, Josh and Adrian. Dear brother of Maria Maceda. He was preceded in death by his siblings Vicente, Leonardo & Conrado. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc. 2508 Victory Blvd on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 4-8 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:30 am, at Our Lady of Pity RC Church, 1616 Richmond Ave Staten Island, NY 10314. The family has requested that all visitors follow the CDC guidelines. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at the funeral home and at the church for everyone's safety. Please do not attend the services if you are not fully vaccinated or if you are not feeling well.
