My family is so sorry for the loss of Father Berardi. He was a spiritual advisor, brother, friend and minister to our family.

Father Berardi was such a wonderful man. My mom worked for him in various capacities for over 20 years. She started working for him in NY at the Society for the Propagation of the Faith and then moved with him to New Rochelle to work in the office. He was always so kind and had such a generous spirit. He even took the time to go from Staten Island to Valhalla, NY to visit my Mom in the nursing home. He was such a wonderful example of the Priesthood and also such a great friend to my Mom. Our whole family will miss him, even my husband and myself in Oklahoma. His friendship and kindness had a tremendous impact on all of our family.

I send my deepest condolences to all of the Berardi Family. I grew up with Freddy and Rita on Jewett Ave. What great memories I have! Freddy was so kind to me when my son Jay died last year. He recalled memories of our moms cooking together. He was a loyal and faithful servant. Know he rests in peace. Karen Walker Sugarman
