Obituary of Josephine Lawler

Josephine Lawler, 92, of Eltingville, passed away peacefully, on February 14, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles (2020); loving mother of Cynthia Vroome and Thomas Lawler; cherished grandmother of Donald Vroome; dear sister of Donald Moliterni and Millie Powell. Mrs. Lawler was born in Mariner's Harbor and was graduated from Port Richmond High School. In her younger years Josephine worked for a greeting card company as a Commercial Artist. In her spare time she enjoyed painting and doing various arts and crafts. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. On Friday departing at 10:45 am with interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
