Obituary of John A. DeSapio

John DeSapio, 75, passed away on March 5th, 2022. John was the beloved husband of Marie and loving father of Vincent, Rosanne, and Laura. John was the devoted grandfather of Darby, Vincent, Christopher, Johnny-Boy, Sydney, Jessica, Nikki, and Steven. He was the dear brother of Ann, James, and Marty-Boy. Also survived by loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. John was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he lived most of his life. He later resided in Califon, New Jersey where he opened his beloved Nicola's Pizzeria. John spent most of his life doing what he enjoyed the most, making people laugh, especially his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, departing at 11:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare's R.C. Church at 12:15 pm. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
