Obituary of Catherine Macaluso

Catherine Macaluso (nee Giaimo), resident of Port Richmond Center for sixty-three years, passed away on March 20, 2022. In 1940, Catherine married her childhood sweetheart, William (deceased in 2004). Together they raised two daughters, Kathleen Ferraro (Elio), and Valerie Kozma (Art). Loving grandmother of Gina, Donna, Darlene, Frank and Kristen, and proud great-grandmother of thirteen. Catherine was a seamstress by trade, for more than 40 years, as well as an excellent cook and housekeeper. Her door was always open and she loved sharing her home with family and friends. In her spare-time she enjoyed game shows and playing cards. An amazing, gracious lady, fondly known as "Nonnie", will be greatly missed. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:15 am. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.
