Roberto was a man of many talents and skills and used those talents to open and operate a belt company in Manhattan as well as a slipcover company for many years. Later in life, he pursued his automotive passion and was employed by the Texaco and later the Chevron company, servicing their vehicles and equipment based in Brooklyn. Later in life, Roberto and Carmen retired to the home they had built in Mt. Pocono, Pa. where they intended to spend their remaining years together. Roberto relished being outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He could often be found tending to one of his many gardens, fishing in one of the lakes in the Mt. Pocono region or hunting with friends and neighbors. Visitation will take place at the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, April 15th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM.
