Obituary of Robert S. Hall

Robert S. Hall of Eltingville, passed away on April 15, 2022. He was a hardworking man who was deeply devoted to his wife and children. Robert was known to all his friends and family as "Bob" and met the love of his life Joyce Hall in high school. Together they raised 3 children, Robert Jr. (Bobby, Rob), Patricia (Trish) and James (Jim.) Their family expanded when he gained two daughter-in-law's and a son-in-law, Carolyn, ToniAnne and Joseph. Bob also has four grandchildren - Ashley, Ryan, Jenna and Lucas, who he adored. Bob loved going down the shore, dining out and spending time with his family. He worked well into his seventies in the industrial supply business. Bob was a man that could fix almost anything, a trait he passed on to his youngest son. Additionally, if you knew Bob at an early age you would know, he could play music by ear and pick up almost any instrument and play a tune. He played the drums, guitar, piano and accordion. He was a kind person with beautiful blue eyes, a trait he passed on to his granddaughters. Visitation at Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday. Interment to follow in Moravian Cemetery.
