Obituary of Peter J. Lospenuso

Mr. Peter J. Lospenuso, 78, of Bulls Head, passed away on June 2, 2022. He was the beloved son of the late Peter and Rita Lospenuso; dear brother of Ronald Lospenuso and his wife Esther; Kenneth Lospenuso and his wife Kathy; Joseph Lospenuso and his wife Rosemarie and the late Robert Lospenuso and his wife Irene; dear uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Peter was born in Manhattan, raised in Carroll Gardens and later relocated to Staten Island, where he resided most of his life. After his high school graduation, he was drafted and served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Korea. He worked for many years as a Mailroom Supervisor for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. His family has described him as a "Good Old Soul". Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, June 13, 2022, departing at 10:45 am. Funeral Mass is scheduled at 11:15 am at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church. Visitation on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
