Obituary of Giovanni Cicala

Giovanni (John) Cicala, 68, of Eltingville, passed away with his family by his side on Aug 1, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Maria for 48 years; loving father of Pat Cicala and his wife Leah, Nina Parisi and her husband Joey, Teresa Scudero and her husband Frank; cherished grandfather of 6; Rosabella, Sarina, AJ, Lena, Giovanni and Michaelina. John loved to spend time with his family, go to casinos, and travel with his wife. He thoroughly enjoyed hosting bbq's, lounging in his pool, and joking around with family on summer nights. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral departing on Friday at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Ocean View Cemetery.
