I knew Mr. Vitarelli distantly through my father, Jerry Cutler, who used to play billiards with him at the Friars Club and New York Athletic Club. Mr. Vitarelli call me and helped organize a remembrance for my father at the Friars Club after he died a few years ago. I was saddened to see that he himself had passed away last year. I hope he rests in blessed peace.

It’s an hour and a half since my wife Suzanne and I were talking car business and I decided to look up Al. I was shocked to learn that he had died on August 1. He and I became the closest of pals in 1971 when we both worked in Brooklyn at Kings Plaza AMC. We both experienced great things in the Auto Biz in NY and ran dealerships in NYC. I know he led a great life and send my condolences to all his children and family. I have lived in Florida for 28 years so lost contact with him but news of his passing touches my soul. Sid Siegel

I didn’t know Mr Vittarelli but I know he was a great man and incredibly charismatic because I know his daughter, Alicia.
Prayers for Alicia and the Vittarelli family and all who lost the friend they had in him. His spirit lives on in all of you. God Bless.

Introduced to Al by Josie (my mother sister ) and Ronnie Minervini many many years ago.
What a beautiful person. I spent many years at the Minervini parties with Al. When I lived in New York City when he had the Lincoln dealership, he would pick me up and we would go to lunch often.
What a good, respected, awesome man he is and always will be in my heart.
My very best to his family. Cindy Cariseo

Cousin Jr was larger than life to me. He was always in the know with his business savvy. He had a big heart and treated everyone with loving kindness. Charismatic, funny, handsome. I remember his mother, Aunt Mary, always treated him as if he was gold. "My son, my son" he was the light in her life. Jr you will be missed by all those whose lives you touched. My sincerest sympathy to your family as the circle gets smaller.

Cousin Junior (Al) was the man who was there for everyone.
He had a special technique to build up and give confidence to all those he met.
His presence lit up a room – to know him was to love him.
He had both EQ and IQ which contributed to his success.
Cousin you will be missed – you were a very special man.
To his wife Sharon, his Children and Grandchildren our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We were truly sorry to hear of the loss of Al, a dear friend and neighbor for many years. We always knew how fortunate we were to have had Al and his family living next door. He was a kind man with a big, warm smile for everyone.
Al will always be lovingly remembered by our entire family.
