Obituary of Ernest R. Macasaet

Ernest Macasaet, 88, of Graniteville, passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Gladys Macasaet for 52 years, Loving father of Ernest and Jennifer Macasaet and grandfather to Naomi Macasaet. Mr. Macasaet was born and raised in Manhattan and Brooklyn. He was a proud Air Force and Korean War Veteran - which was a big part of who he was. He enjoyed taking care of his garden, especially his tomato plants, listening to classical music, The Yankees, reading the paper- the old fashion way and eating sweets. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 17th from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at The Matthew Funeral Home Inc., located at 2508 Victory Blvd.
