Mildred “Millie” Ann Fischetti Gargano, 79 passed away peacefully on September 29, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Alexius J Gargano Jr for 57 wonderful years; loving mother of Alex and his wife Christine, Rosemary Frusci and her husband Michael, Michele Alba and her husband Michael. Millie was the proud grandmother of her five grandchildren Alexis, Michael, Isabella, Michael and Grace. She was survived by her two sisters Julia Nappi and Theresa Scattaglia and her husband, Robert. She had many nieces and nephews who adored her. Millie was born on October 17, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York. She was just a few weeks shy of her 80th Birthday. She graduated from New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, New York. She retired from Tottenville High School where she worked for 24 years in Office Administration. In her spare time, she took pleasure in cooking, crafts, and shopping. If there was a bargain, Millie would find it! She also enjoyed playing mahjong and pulling the slots in Atlantic City with her friends. Millie built amazing memories travelling with her husband to Europe, Alaska, and Hawaii. Her infectious laugh and good sense of humor was enjoyed by all.
