Arnold was the loving husband of Constance (Connie) (deceased) for 36 years, devoted father of Deanna and Linda, beloved grandfather of John, Joseph, Matthew and Nicholas, and cherished father in law of John and Joseph. He was a caring brother predeceased by three brothers and six sisters ( Yolanda, Gloria, Sylvia, Josie, Margaret, Millie, Albert, Raymond, Mario, and Uncle to countless nieces and nephews. Arnold was born on April 29th, 1935. He grew up in Brooklyn before attending New Utrecht High School. He entered the U.S. Army on February 3rd, 1956 and served in Korea for two years. While in Korea, Arnold, along with a few other soldiers, survived a devastating plane crash. The plane’s engines combusted shortly after takeoff and the plane tumbled towards the ground and landed in the Han River. The plane crash left Arnold with horrendous back pain and a spinal fusion surgery. Arnold showed the same dedication to his family as he had shown to his country.
