Obituary of Danielle M. Bessau

Danielle M. Bessau, age 36, passed away on March 4, suddenly, at Staten Island University Hospital North. She was the beloved daughter of Mary Ann and Joseph Coscia, and the late Michael Bessau; loving mother of Valentina Loverso; devoted partner of Rosario Loverso; dear sister of Michael J. Bessau and his wife, Stefanie, and Frankie Coscia and his girlfriend, Danielle Matoske; fond aunt of Christopher and Charlotte Bessau. Also survived my many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Danielle was born on December 16, 1981. She was raised in New Springville. She was an alumna of Susan Wagner High School, and then attended classes with the College of Staten Island and Kaplan University, with her studies in education. She worked for Kindernook Day Care. Some of her favorite hobbies included socializing with her friends and family, taking trips to her family's house in Pennsylvania, and going on cruises. Most of all, her main concern in life was her daughter, Valentina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Go Fund Me page For the Family of Danielle Bessau, or her daughter Valentina. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, departing at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas The Apostle R.C. Church, at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm.
