Obituary of Salvatore Agnello

Salvatore Agnello, 59, of Staten Island passed away with family by his side on December 17th 2022. He was the beloved son of the late Mary Giuliano and the late Fortunato Agnello. He was a loving brother to his siblings Anthony Agnello, Joan Agnello Conroy, Freddy Agnello, John Agnello, and Mark Agnello. A cherished uncle to Anthony, Timothy, Kevin, Christy, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Devin, Christian, and Thomas. He was a special god father to his god daughter Isabella. Salvatore grew up in Brooklyn and was fondly known as "Sal the Mayor" by his friends due to his leadership skills and charisma. His persona and humor could light up any room. He will be missed deeply by all those who knew him. Salvatore was loved by many and his memory will live on in all the lives he touched. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
